Jill Ruckelshaus was a former special White House assistant under Richard Nixon and head of the White House Office of Women's Programs as well as a feminist activist. She also served as a commissioner for the United States Commission on Civil Rights in the early 1980s.
Anne L. Armstrong was an adviser to Presidents Richard M. Nixon and Gerald R. Ford and the first woman to serve as the United States ambassador to Britain.
